Buyer's Agent?

Buying one's first motorhome is so fraught with challenges, I was wondering if there is such a thing as a buyer's agent who can assist you in finding a good unit and in negotiating a fair price.

I've owned two travel trailers in the $10k - $16k range but motorhomes are new to me and carry much higher prices.

If there are such agents, how do you find them?

  • I think it's a good idea, but I suspect with the build issues on RVs that it would be a very risky business...

You've had trailers, so you know the ins and outs of the house. Get a good mechanic to check the chassis/engine side of things and you should be good. If something in the house were a bad sign if it were in a trailer, then it's a bad sign in a motorhome.
  • Haven't heard of any but that's a good idea.

Meanwhile I'd suggest you go to DeMartini RV in Grass Valley.

They have a fairly good reputation.
