  • thank you how long after I did the statehood from escapees till id have to go to sd for motorhome car registration and licenses
  • Select a state to establish domicile first, and do so enroute to Az.
S.D. for instance only requires 24 hours to establish Domicile. You can get a motel for a couple nights. Visit a mail forwarder or contact
    www.escapees.com
for mail forwarding, and then visit the local DMV to change your drivers License.
A couple of other states are good for this as well. Texas, and Florida being the most common, but they will require longer stays.
South Dakota also doesnt require annual vehicle inspections so you dont have to revisit or request letters for that.
You would have to go back to SD to register though.
As to transportation or temporary tags, if you buy from a dealer they could provide, if a private sale, you would have to check both with the state where you made the purchase or where you establish domicile to see how to get one.
  • You will need when you sell to establish a domicile somewhere. If you sell your house and have no address to mail anything your drivers license insurance etc are all a problem aren’t they ? So more issues than buying a coach
Establish a legal domicile FL SD orTX are the common ones. Or perhaps you “stay” in MA
If your financing any part .. buy before you sell the house will save a percent or do on the rate .. full timers get higher interest rates.
