CAMPING WORLD EXPERIENCE

Good afternoon everyone. Hot and humid here in the mid section of the country. Time to head north.
I recently bought a 2015 Thor Motorcoach Chateau 31W. I wanted a folding alumium step. Ordered one from CW on June 11. Still not here.ye yet. Really not here yet? I mean was it sent on a back of a snail or turtle. When you can order from other online sellers and get it in 2 to 5 days. INSANE. I decided to call to find out where is my order. WWWEEELLLLLLLL almost after an hour on hold I finally talked to someone. GGGGGEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZ ALMOST AN HOUR. INSANE. The lady who took my call said my order is suppose to be delivered tomorrow.15 days. REALLY? I asked the lady what the heck was the problem, why sooooooo lllloooonnnnggggg. Same story that I have seen on this site. A new computer program launch and they are working out the bugs. Maybe they should have tested it a little longer before launch.
Will I buy from CW online again. PROBABLY NOT!!!!!!!!. Not when I can get it from another online seller in a very short.
What a shome. I have heard and read a lot about the mess CW is having., sure hope they get it right soon.
Off my soap box.
Life is a trip, ENJOY the ride.
Safe Travels.

They have 2 problems with Camping World. The first is that there isn't one in Cincinnati, where I live. The second is that I buy entirely too much stuff when I visit a CW while on the road, usually while muttering "I didn't know that even existed".
I do the same thing at Cabelas when I'm near one, and I don't hunt or fish.

    Jim -

This might be bad news since you spend a lot at CW but they are in Cincinnati now. CW bought out Tom Raper. So the Raper up on Route 4 in Fairfield is now a CW. I know that's a haul from Amelia but a lot closer than Indy. I just got my second CW mailer today actually. I'm in Loveland by the way. Personally, I favor Holman then Colerain closely behind.

  • Go to the Jump to Forum and send to Dear Marcus under CW Accessories. May or may not help, but at least you are talking to the boss. Dick
  • Some days it's all I can do to just buy everything on Amazon. The shipping times and great service are worth a difference in price.
