We had a 2003 Kountry Star with the Cat motor. Ours was an early '03 so it was the 3126, not the C7. It is my understanding they are basically the exact same engine except the 3126 doesn't have any emission stuff.
Overall a great package, I would highly recommend it.
The one thing that was recommended to us when we bought it, and good advice for any turbo vehicle, is make sure you let the turbo cool a few minutes before you shut it down. Also, make sure you give the cooling fan a shot of grease as scheduled - it's easy to get at through the closet.
Other than that, it's a fuel and go engine. Enjoy.
