Changing out queen bed for two twins

I am possibly purchasing a class a winnebago adventurer tomorrow. I am picturing taking out the queen n building platform around water tank that is at head of bed then platform down the sides. I found some mattresses 32 x 79 that would be perfect. I know we will not have an aisle down the center but enough of one to get into bed.

My questions: is it difficult to take out the two end tables? Has anyone ever done this?
It is a 1999 32'. Us two gals want our own space.

  • Shouldn't be too difficult but you may find some hidden screws if the cabinets were built into the MH versus being built and installed in the MH. I just removed and overhead TV cabinet in the bedroom of our MH and it was obvious that it was built into the space not built and put into the space.
  • it all depends on what is under those various objects and how well they are tied into the structure of the coach. also if you care if the remodeled unit looks "stock" or if it is obvious it is tacked together.

  • Foretravel is doing that on a Winnie right now. It should not be that hard as they only booked it for a few days.
