Do it!!!! It will take the larger capacity leds to give the same brightness. There realy is a difference between soft white and bright white and you will not want to mix them. I think it cost about 15 dollars a bulb 2 years ago. Ordered them direct from a distributor. and changed out about 11 2 bulb fixtures with the simple plug connections that matched the old bulb. Battery life is greatly improved and heat input to the cabin is measurably reduced. For folks that boon dock, changing out would improve capacity more than adding another house battery.
