The only trouble I have had in changing over is that some of the two prong led's don't want to stay in the fixture. I bought some round flat led's to replace some halogen as overhead readers. The brightness is not reduced much, but the vibration of travel loosens them to not working. Also, if you buy the cheapest from China, be prepared to order more than you need as some will not work when you get them. I have not found a ceiling light replacement that pleases me. Most are too blue or not bright enough. I guess, bottom line is, cheaper is not always better and you have to experiment with different sellers to fine the ones you like. hth
