Ever since doing the CHF the bolt on right front sway bar has either broken or come loose and fallen out. Sounds kinda dangerous. Anyone have an idea on what is causing this? Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions on how to fix?

By your description, I assume that this has happened more than once?Are you using the proper grade bolt or is it some Chinese replacement of indeterminate strength?Are you using the proper lock washer/nut?

Are you talking about the end link, upper, lower, or the actual axle mount? The CHF should not cause any bolt failure, unless it has been overstressed, or left loose. These are Metric bolts and nuts, remove the other side and get a matching replacement. If it is falling out, use lock-tight blue.

It has happened twice before. The bolt is the end link. The last bolt I used was hardened steel. The dealer is installing one now that has a cotter pin thru the bolt.

There is no way of determining the fake ones. This first showed up in the Nuclear Industry, and I'm sure it carried over into all other industries. You pay your dime and hope for the best.

Sounds like maybe someone is stealing bolts. :)
