Cheap Handling Fix - Where?

I have a 2001 Ford F53 V10 Itasca Suncruiser. Would like to check out the cheap handling fix which so many people have done. I keep hearing positive things about this modification. I don't feel comfortable doing this myself, but I have yet to find an RV shop that is willing to do it. Some (in particular Camping World) have yet to ever hear about the CHF. Any suggestion on where to go have this modification done if you don't want to do it yourself?? :h

It's not as intimidating as you think. Get your rig as level as possible - without jacks. Remove the bolts on the end of the sway bar. Position the other set of holes and re-install the bolts. If it's not completely level - and it's almost impossible to get it completely level - install the bolt in the higher end first and use a small bottle jack to nudge the other in place. Make sure the bolts are tight and done. I was intimidated when I did mine and took my time. Still only took me 20 mins. On the rears it's more simple, remove the "Z" brackets on the ends and just reverse them and re-install. Easy cheesy.
  • I performed the fix on my 2011 F53 Winnebago. I only did the rear bar as the front bar was too short for the modification. Even performing the rear alone did wonders to improve handling.

There are videos on YouTube describing the process.
  • I wasn't aware that it was doable on Ford chassis MHs. It worked well on our previous Workhorse chassis rig but on our new F53 the link is not positioned/long enough to be able to be moved to the other hole in the sway bar.
  • Do you have a neighbor that does some of his own car repairs? The CHF is simple enough that pretty much any shade tree mechanic could do it.
