Glad it was an easy fix!

I once got one of those little devices that makes a random "chirp" with no pattern of when it will go off. I hid it in the office (large room with multiple desk cubes). After a few days it started driving everyone nuts. I moved it around a few times and then folks really went nuts. I finally retrieve it and brought it home. It was a fun trick, and to this day I never told anyone I was the one responsible. Those chirps can drive you batty!

CO detector has a life span and will chirp when it is up. Date us usually on the back and since they are hardwired you need to remove it from the wall to see the date. Always a pain

rgatijnet, I think you won the golden apple. I went out and looked that CO detector over, and, it does have a battery. I changed it, and no chirps since then. Thank you so much, and thank you to all who replied to my query. It is nice to be able to ask questions and get so many people who are willing to reply. You guys are the most! Thank You

This may sound silly, but is your air break on.I have a 2003 Providence and when in N, and air break not on, it makes a sound.

Something easy to check is make sure your downriggers are up all the way. in my old coach the would leak off just a little and then the chirp would begin. get in crank it and pull them all utp and see hope this helps

Co detector still has a limited life regardless of being hard wired & it will chirp when it's done.

Thanks rgatijnet, I will try to figure out how to check that. I am willing to try all suggestions.
