For all the members that are somehow missed the point of my original post, please be assured that you do not have to block my post. I do not respond to questions that do not directly apply to Class A Motorhome. That is one of the main reasons I would like to know the type of RV that a member is asking about. And, for all of the members that have not owned a Class A DP, then you really have no clue about the systems that one has. Some electronics are the same, some furnaces are the same, some air conditioners may be the same. But the generators, air bags, inverters, leveling systems, slide outs, engines, and a host of other items are not the same. I also own a Winnebago Itasca Gas Class A Motorhome. There is no comparison between the two as far as the systems go. Travel Trailers and Fifth wheels have no engine or transmission. Most do not have a generator. For sure not a diesel generator. As I said, the title of this forum is Class A Motorhomes. There are forums for travel trailers, fifth wheels, Class C and B motorhomes. I do no read those forums because I feel I would not have much to share. I only belong to two forums, this one and the Foretravel forum. I read this forum to increase my knowledge of Class A Motorhomes. I have to say that I don't gain much knowledge. I belong to this forum because I like the what Good Sam Club has to offer.
Log there is an old saying that goes: "you don't know what you don't know." Anyone can and should be listened to. For instance, even though my brother owns a lowly hybrid TT, he is an expert diesel and heavy equipment mechanic. He just made a huge difference on a friend's American Heritage. I'm pretty good at problems electrical. It took me about 10 minutes on that same American to diagnose an electrical issue one Saturday.
You never know who might deliver that piece of advice you might need.
