I can't believe these two are even comparable, especially price wise. Newmar would win the quality fight, hands down. And I suspect they are more expensive. If not, then it really is a no brainer.
Any ramp door can become a patio. Having the ramp door on our toy hauler convert to a patio was very important to us as well. But, having to set it up every morning and tear it down every night got old fast. No more patio for us.
