Lots of perfect info! Exactly the kind of input I was looking for!
Mr Mark, we are getting an actual garage. Our motorcycle will go in there, along with our paddle boards, so that is a must. What carringb said about the loft is exactly right! It's cute and looks larger in pictures, but there is no, um... ..."sitting up" room? Heads would hit ceiling. *blush* So we actually think that's a hindrance and a waste of space except in the rare occasion that the grandchildren would come along (they don't live near).
3921 is the model we are looking at in the Newmar. You all have me strongly leaning towards the Newmar right now, which is crazy, because for months I haven't strongly leaned towards either.
They do have a lot of floorplans in the 5th wheels, but unfortunately, not in the Class A. We currently have a 3-year-old hybrid that we had plenty of different floorplans to choose from and we are hating having to "settle" this time. =(
Oh, and on price, the Newmar is definitely more expensive, and from what I understand, they don't drop the price when "dealing" as much as they do with Thor.
The reason why I ask what you are going to bring along is that they 3921 doesn't have a listing for weight in the garage but the Thor has a 2,500 lb. max load for the garage.
Also, I see now what you mean about the Thor patio. It is a drop down unit (no garage). Interesting.
MM.
