Class C purchasing decision...

Hi all! We are looking at getting a Class C in the near future. The wife and I have a little different opinions on one issue of the purchase though. We have our eyes on a 2014 Forest River Forester 3051SF. I would like the entertainment center option over the cab area. She, on the other hand, thinks that having the sleeping area might be more beneficial. Can some of you guys enlighten me to your experiences with and without the entertainment center option? Thanks in advance!!
  • Well, the kids are older and don't like going camping anymore. We do have 2 "smaller" kids, a Boston Terrier and a Pug though. We really love the floor plan of the Forester. I don't think that it is one of those entertainment centers with the small slide out bed.
  • It's all about the kids. If you have preteens then I go with the overhead bunk, if the kids are grown and its going to be adults using it, then the entertaiment center.
Climb up there and envision yourself sleeping there. how's it feel. rather be there than the main bed. Well any other adult will feel the same way.
Kids love the space and it's nice to have extra sleeping room. but having the entertaiment option frees up other areas that probaly will benift the DW more than you. So if you got young childeren get the bunk, if not get the entertaiment option
  • Geeze thats your only disagreement? My wife once nixed a purchase because there was no place for the garbage can.
Hoestly, the difference is personal preference. Might i suggest you go out and play house for a half hiur or so in each model. Then pick the one your most comfortable actuslly living in. Little things lime turning your head to watch TV might be OK for one evening a week, but doing so for 7 nights in a row can be a real pain. Get my point?
  • I believe that some have a single bed that pulls out like a draw under the tv. May be it will work for you both.
