- country_sunflowExplorerOxyclean did a great job, curtains look as good as the new ones that the dealer gave to us to replace the stained ones. Soaked them in a tub for 6 hours and then rinced in the washing machine and refolded them and set the machine on spin and hung on a hanger to dry and there was no need to iron. They look great.
- J-RoosterExplorerWe tried to order thru Colorado River Blinds (Lake Havasu City, AZ.) last year two new sets of blinds from Winnebago. They were discontinued from Winnebago. Jack, of Colorado River Blinds told my wife to wash the blinds by hand with Club Soda and a soft bristle brush (Jack, called this a trade secret). My wife used a clean picnic table cloth to scrub the blinds on outdoors so the blinds would not get dirty. She let the blinds sun dry and they looked new. Jack restrung the blinds for us for a small fee and they still look new. My wife now uses the Club Soda (see keeps it under the kitchen sink) on many of her garments. If you try this you will not be disappointed.

The front drapes or curtains are hanging with drape hooks. They need cleaning. Have you had good luck washing or do you dry clean. Do not want to ruin them, just clean and brighten up. 2003 HR Endeavor. Thanks. The drapes are lined.

Wife washed ours in washing machine, gentle cycle, cold water, hang dry after aligning pleats, then ironed and they looked brand new after that. - deandecExplorer1995 Beige Curtains not lined.
Dry clean would not guarantee success.
Washing Machine and Oxyclean.
Ironed and hung with pleats in binding for 24 hours.
Still looking good after several treatments over the years. - RayChezExplorerDo not dry clean them, they will be ruined. Best way is just load them on a washing machine and wash them with cold water. Do not put them in the dryer, just hang them and let them dry naturally.
- spritz_55423ExplorerOurs were out of our 1982 class A and they were the original too. Dark brown and looking awful. I bought some of the curtains from CW and they arrive pretty wrinkled so I hung them thinking they would straighten out over winter. WRONG so I took them to the cleaners(and they took me)$65.00 I also had to sign a waver and was told they will shrink up to 3% which was okay because I figured that out before I bought them and got a little bigger than needbe. They did just a okay job still had a few wrinkles but I hung them and now they look great. I bet we could have done a better job. Lesson learned.
- havasuExplorerIf they are pleated like ours, I filled the tub with warm water and mixed in 3 scoops of oxyclean powder and then rinsed them through by hand for about 20 minutes. Laid them on the table outside in the sun gently opened out so that the creases were nice and left it to dry. In our desert sun they were dry, clean and bright in a couple of hours.
I repeated it for all the day/night shades too. - MustangGTExplorerwe were going to trash ours (circa 1997) and make new ones. But cost of material was ~$200 so the wife threw them in the washer with a little bleach and an hour later they were drying and looked like new (almost, the blue is a little faded, but EVENLY faded). so I put them back up.
- alogo4uExplorerAgree with Raindove. Washed mine. Came out better than I thought.
- dons2346ExplorerWe washed them on gentle cycle, did a short tumble dry and the finished up with a steam iron.
