I do NOT know about Sprinter, but the Fords have a factory trailer tow harness with dedicated fuses. So what? Well, it seems many of the motorhome builders connect the exterior "house" lighting to the "trailer" wiring, not the "chassis" wiring.
Suggest you do this as an And/Or:
1. Call Winnebago or look your wiring diagram up on winnebago's website. LOTS of Owner Resources there
2. Study your Sprinter Owner's Manual and look for stuff called "Trailer" under the Fuses information. Again, from Ford, in some Years/Models, the Trailer fuse panel was in a totally different location than the rest of the Chassis fuses.
