Winnebago is one of the better-organized manufacturers. I think I'd be for finding out where the fuses are, and where the relays are. I'm trusting you have a meter or a 12-VDC test light. Light would be very good for this. The kind that look like an ice pick with a light in the handle and a wire with clip coming out of the end of the handle. Clip to a ground, tip to 30, it should light. Leave clip on ground, and tip to 85 and 86, it should NOT light. To figure out whether 85 or 86 is ground and which is hot: Turn headlights ON, clip on ground, tip to 85 or 86, one should light the tester and one not. The one that does is hot. To test the other terminal for ground (85 or 86) put clip on 30 and touch 85 then 86. One of them should light the tester and it's the grounded terminal.
And, of course, does the Relay CLICK! You can switch it with another like relay. Lots of place carry Bosch-style relays. Some are better than others. TYCO is the best but any of them will get your by.
