Good luck hr!.. I think you made the right decisions and I know what a terrible job you just went through.. If you had waited until Monday and called the insurance company or a repair shop the damage would have already been done.. I think you caught it in time.. Try and run some fuel through the engine and top off the fuel tank.. Keep spare fuel filters like you say and I think you will be ok..
