coach electrical problem on Allegro

I don't have an Allegro, but one thing to check is your inverter. Mine has two circuit breakers on it that feed outlets in the rig. Maybe yours is simliar and one has tripped.

Not an Allegro, but we have 2 GFI's. One in the bathroom and the other on the front of a dining booth seat. We didn't know about the 2nd one until we had a problem and went searching everywhere. What a dumb place to put one.

yes u will have a poped breaker on the inverter

we have '3' GFI outlets
the bathroom
the kitchen
and one in the electrical bay

yes i have seen that also but most likely there not in same series so just because u pop one GFI does not shut down power to 2 other gfi,s
because he has several outlets but not all out I think they(dead ones) happen to be running through the inverter and has poped breaker on Inveter.been there and done that and is caused by circut overload

I only have a small 32' Class C, but I have 2 GFCIs. One right beside the entry door that does the bathroom, kitchen and outside outlets, and one on the inverter that does both entertainment centers.

I want you to check your dead outlets from the hot wire on the outlet to a good ground to see if power is there, as you may have a disconnected neutral. Your problem occurred when you had a lot of power running in the circuit, and very often either the power wire or the neutral wire closest to the breaker box, or right in the breaker box will heat up and then come loose.

Start at the breaker panel and take a screwdriver and with power off first, tighten all the hot connections, then all the white wires that carry the neutrals back. If you can identify the particular white wire that feeds that circuit, zero in on that wire, but still tighten all you can.

If that does not get things going, then go to what would be the closest plug or hardwired device on that circuit, and open that one to look for loose wires there. It is almost always the closest wires to the breaker panel because they carry the heaviest load in the entire circuit and are most subject to overheating as a result.

I think in my opinion its best we wait to hear back from OP as I suspect he simply has a poped Inverter breaker.He has lots of SP just a certain set of plus not working.Others he said operate ok
I made the mistake one time of going with your method with the indentical complaint that the Op posted and all it turned out to be was one inverter breaker

Thanks to all of you for the quick replies and good suggestions.. I have searched everywhere and cannot find another GFI, and I do have power at the breakers, so as was suggested, I will look closer at the inverter. I have looked at the inverter previously and did not see any "typical" breakers on the outside of it. What I am seeing looks more like a fuse. Do all inverters have breakers? Are they external or possibly on the inside of the case?

Have you check with Tiffin RV Network Forum? That forum is exclusively Tiffin products and is a wealth of information. They have over 10,000 members and it is a VERY active forum. Since getting our Phaeton I'm using that site exclusively to find info on our Phaeton.
