Coach net left us hanging and refused to pay for service call or a tow when we ran over a retread in the road. It wrapped around our genny exhaust and bent it so it was rubbing on the road. Still no explanation why. I have since dropped them and gone to GS. We'll see how that goes.
I'm pretty sure no roadside assistance would be out to help you for bent generator exhaust and pay for it.
I'll beg to differ with that. GS plan does not have any restrictions like that. Heck they even cover any other vehicle I happen to be riding in. They covered a mechanic to come to my then house for bad batteries. I was just out of hospital and couldn't put the new batteries in myself, but I had to move the MH for some other repairs.
Batteries effect the running of the vehicle, no? Does the generator exhaust?
It's like calling them to say your microwave isn't working. They MIGHT send a tech out to look at it, but it certainly won't be on their dime because it does not effect the operation of the vehicle or cause it to be inoperable.
The generator was wedged under the motor home. It also broke an air line. The compressor could keep up with the leak but you can't drive with an exhaust pipe dragging on the ground. They couldn't even find someone to respond (on my dime) in less than 2 hours. I found one on google who came out in 30 minutes with a saws all and removed the pipe so I could be on my way. I can't believe they would not help in this situation.
