Personally, I think Fleetwood makes a good coach. They've been doing it for a long time and they're still around. As with any company, they have dips in quality, but Fleetwood is very consistent.
I think people miss the point that Monaco is GONE. The only good thing about Fleetwood's parent company buying out what was left of Monaco is that they kept the parts store open. Even with that, the parts are made by other companies, many who have also gone out of business.
What made a Monaco a Monaco was their proprietary chassis (Roadmaster), same with Country Coach and Alpine Coach who had a proprietary chassis'.
Any Monaco you buy now is just a Fleetwood product with a Freightliner chassis. So.....quality has nothing to do with the Monaco name anymore. The quality will be what Fleetwood decides to make it.
