Congratulate me
It's taken me 15 years but I finally did it. Heard others say they done it but I thought I was too smart to do it. I pulled away from my house without unplugging my 30amp.cable.:S

There are a few features that our new coach has that help tremendously. The display in the center of our dash will tell me:
-if the power cord is connected to shore power or not retracted
-if the antenna is up
-if the slides are out (will not shift into gear until retracted). There is an emergency switch in the engine compartment to override in an emergency.
So, those essentials are covered. I just need to make sure the Honda is not in park (happened once on asphalt.... only about 10 ft.).
As with anything, getting in a hurry is a big mistake. I try to slow myself down and not skip any steps. The worst thing that can happen is a neighbor will inevitably want to talk when you are connecting the toad or getting ready to leave.
