Congratulate me

It's taken me 15 years but I finally did it. Heard others say they done it but I thought I was too smart to do it. I pulled away from my house without unplugging my 30amp.cable.:S

  • I did that once on my previous TT. Pull away from home, got down the road about a half mile and saw it when doing a turn. Fortunately, my black cord for the camper was plugged into a lightweight construction type extension cord (just enough to keep lights running). When I pulled away, the camper pig tail unhooked from the orange cord, so nothing was hurt, except the orange cord pins, plugged into the wall were bent up pretty good!

Never did THAT again! Live and learn!
  • I once forgot to disconnect the air hoses after dropping a trailer (SEMI)...That thing about gave me a heart attack when it came off the trailer and slammed into the back of the sleeper.

Just be glad the power cord is not coiled :S
  • Did it with my Lance Camper once, luckily only bent the prongs. Watching my neighbor run down the street behind me waving his arms madly in the air; worth it!!!! :)

I put flagging on my stirring wheel every time I plug in. :)
  • I did that with our old TT. Fortunately I was going slow enough that I felt the resistance and stopped before any damage was done.
