In most, but not all, it is beside or behind the breaker panel.
But, there is something else to check first since you just bought this RV. Many, if not most, have a battery disconnect switch. If the battery disconnect switch is on, the battery is not connected to the converter, so it won't charge. I would first check to see if you have one of those.
