Eight straight hours of driving is hard, does not matter whether you are driving a Prevost, Newell or a Foretravel. Lets be realistic!

It is the other way around. The gelcoat has the paint on it

STeve: What year was it that CC made the final switch? I thought it was 1998? Other than the Dynomax they used Gillig frames...???

I went back and re-read Mike's post. He's looking at an ALLURE not an Intrigue. CC started at the TOP of their lineup replacing Gillig's with Dynomax chassis.....so Intrigues would have gotten a Dyno chassis before Allures.

Either way from what I understand about Gillig's from owners I talk to when Im out and about....you'll love either chassis Mike.

I believe the paint has a gelcoat finish on it. People look at my coach and think its a lot newer than than it is. You are welcome to come look at my coach when I get into Waterbury. Having said all of this, I would dare compare it to DP chassis, but will take on a F53 Ford or WH W chassis for handling and comfort. In fact there's a W near by, that I've ridden in and talked with the owner as well.

Mine is a chevy P30. I think half the problem with the P chassis is the front wheels being about 4ft apart on center. I can drive mine with one finger also but sometimes it just has a mind of its own.

A year or so after WH bought the chassis from Chevy, they widened the track, but still, I have absolutely no complaints with ours. We've been all over including 3 times across country, the long way around, up and down the rockies and up and down the east coast to the bottom the keys. If I was to comment on it's construction, I'd have to say there were far too many parts under there for a suspension, but hey, it works for me, so.....

It should have clear coat.! And mine are painted graphics...Im sure that coach will have the same.
