- ezgoinExplorerI tried to use Josie's for a cover, but they didn't have a pattern for my MH. For $25 they sent me a "kit" for making a pattern that they could then use in the future to make more money. I was not offered any discount on the price for providing the pattern, plus I was out $25. In addition, I would have to pay the shipping to get the pattern back to them. The "kit" included 2 sheets of heavy duty aluminum foil and some instructions on how they wanted it done. After some thought, I decided to eat the $25 and threw the foil away. I then went to Walmart and bought a 6' carpet runner for $15 to cover my dashboard, plus a matching 3' piece to cover the hump over the instrument cluster. Works good for me. I found Josie's to be a bit too expensive.

- TrackrigExplorer IIWe ordered one from someplace (Florida?) didn't like the fit so we returned it. DW went to the local carpet store and picked out a color and knap of carpet that we liked. It obviously had to be thinner carpet so that it would mold to some of the dash curves. Then she bought some 6' wide brown craft paper that we used to make a template. We actually had to do the template in two or three pieces to have room to work with it, then taped them together and took the template back out to the dash for a final adjustment. Then laid it out on the carpet, marked the outline with a magic marker and cut it out. After making sure it fit correctly we took it back to the carpet shop and they hemmed the edges. "Hemming" is the correct carpet terminology, but you get the idea.
This was a lot cheaper than the one we bought though it did take a few hours of our time. If you mess it up, you're only out the cost of the brown paper and two yards of carpet. Once you have the template, it's easy and cheap to cut a new one if you want to change colors or have pets riding up there all of the time.
Bill - lostdogExplorerDashboard Covers by Josie. The fit was good, but did need to cut out the defroster holes.
- dennyRExplorerI have a cover by Josie. They are wonderful people to work with. The cover fit exactly over the dash. Some cutting for vents and defrosters was necessary.
