dash mounted switch for generator not working

OK I have traced the wires to the switch, and all 4 appear good. now I need to test the switch. there is not a number on the switch I can find.
My switch has 7 terminals on the back, I know this is hard to explain so bear with me. top of switch "has an elect sign like a s with a arrow head" has 2 terminals side by side, then 3 down the left side a blank space then a terminal and 2 more side by side on the "ON" bottom.
this issue is I have no idea what each terminal is for.
can any one help with a diagram of the terminals?
