Dealer wrecked my motorhome

Off topic but if this had happened to my Hellcat I would have probably had a cow! Stupid I know. A $60k car vs a $130 motorhome. But the cat is my baby!

Best of luck to OP. That really sucks. I've always been impressed with the dealer I do business with here in Clearwater. Haberson's RV. When they check your motorhome, the first thing they do is walk around the motorhome with you inside and out, marking down any dings, scratches, etc. When you pick up the motorhome, the first thing they do again is to do a complete inspection, inside and out.
Seems like any dealer would want to do the same.

Funny you say that. This was the first time this dealer took pics. Lol. Turned out in my favor. Freightliner in Tucson did it when I was there for some service in December. If I worked on them I would always take pics.

I use Ed also for maybe 10 years now. They come to my coach to do the work and the upcharge is quite worth it to me. Last time I used Olathe RV I had them do a PM on my genny. There was a fee on the bill for spark plug on a diesel genny. Haven't been back.

There out of line for not apologizing! They admitted to the damage (fault) and said that they would fix it so I'm Sorry is in line IMHO! There is no sugar coating this it is what it is! No apology no more business IMHO! Sorry about the damage to your coach and I hope they fix it right!

It's not funny. Good that they fessed up. We've not been so lucky over the years at our local General RV. Yes, if there were someone else that would and was capable we'd go elsewhere.

Just about every time we drop something off there is more damage when being returned to us. Fridge missing ( wasn't taken in for fridge problems), being hit ( numerous times) , damage to our new cars when having base plates installed ( one time had to be towed back to the dealer for repairs).

I see many giving the dealer the benefit of the doubt.IMHO there are way too many unqualified people working on our stuff these days. Good customer service a thing of the past ( at least from my experiences).

Why in heavens name would you take it back to a place like that????? Or are these different places each time?

I can honestly say that I have had very few problems with the shops where I take my vehicles and RV. I have never had a vehicle damaged while in a shop, I've never had anything taken from a vehicle while in a shop. The mechanics and other employees have been very qualified and trustworthy. But, I don't go to a dealer by default, I pick my shop carefully.
