With that said, Roland, I believe if you read your owners manual you will find a procedure to prime the filters without the need of adding a secondary pump. I've never done it, but going from memory here (which isn't saying much!), I believe all you need to do is cycle the key, without trying to start it or touching the throttle, and the pump will prime your filters. 10 cycles comes to mind, it may be more, it may be less, or I may be nuts all together, but I'd sure check before I went to the trouble of adding another pump.
