Diesel prices finally falling !!

Gas prices have been falling the last couple of months.........down well over a dollar a gallon....yet diesel has held steady, at least in this area. Finally, diesel has started falling. Checked at our local Flying J and it's down about 20 cents from just a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully it will continue.

  • yep went up here to, I think i just saw 3.79 per gallon today, which is up 30 cents in the past couple weeks. Around here they blame it on harvest season.
  • A week ago here in the twin cities it was 3.69. On Tuesday it was 3.99. On Friday it was 4.29!!!!!! It dropped back to 3.99 yesterday, but what the heck is happening?
  • Got it for $3.11 at Quick Trip yesterday. One Shell station is $3.15. But some other misc. stations are still over $3.30.
  • $3.32 to $3.49 in the Anniston/Oxford area of Alabama. Been holding sfready for over a month now.
  • was 3.69 a few weeks ago and now it's 3.75 here in ELkhart.
  • Same here in Tucson Nutinelse2do. We were down to about $3.39 per gallon two weeks ago. Now, we're back to $3.49 as the cheapest I could find. Now that winter is approaching, there will be increased demand for home heating oil that competes with diesel production.
  • It's the opposite here. Diesel prices are up 10-15 cents over the last week and a half.
Hmmmm. Could it be because all the holiday goods are being transported and snowbirds are traveling?
