Hey Dutch, I've heard that they are out of stock on all sizes of "Roundtoit's" lol!
Ahh! I'll let my wife know that's the reason the "HoneyDo" list has gotten so long. Thanks for the update! :B - FIRE_UPExplorer

I have noticed that larger DP models have hydraulic levelers, less large (39 & below) have electronic levelers. Is there anything to be aware of with electronic?
milkman41,
Not exactly sure of where you have "noticed" that the less than 39' units have electronic ones but, our '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with C-7 330HP CAT has HWH hydraulic ones. And, numerous friends who have either 36' Discoveries, or Horizons etc. and, even two of them have 32' Horizons, have Hydraulic ones. Not that it makes any difference in the answering of your question but, I just thought you'd like to know.

Myself I install a Quadra Big Foot manual hydraulic system a few years back. System has been trouble free and I'm very satisfied. What I've always wondering about is why do the builders install the operator's panel in the driving area? I installed the panel near my slide controls mid coach. Jacks go down slides go out, slides come in jack go up.
When I had the Bigfoot E-Z Leveler manual system, I preferred having the controls right by the driver's seat. That way I could pull in and level up before I even left the seat. Our current coach has a Bigfoot auto leveling system, so one button push is all it takes and the controls could easily be elsewhere. In our case, the slide switch is in an awkward spot in a cabinet over the dashboard, but I'll be rectifying that situation as soon as I get the required "roundtoit". - okgcExplorerMost trouble free leveler system we have had was the Quadra Big Foot on our Bounder.
- Dale_TravelingExplorer IIBoth, electric and hydraulic, have been around for many years. Historically electrics were used on lighter rigs such as towables with hydraulic focused on heavier applications. A few years back Atwood came out with a heavy duty electric set up that you can find on several models of 40' class A's but the trend appears to have reversed with hydraulics cornering the class A market once again.

Both systems have been trouble free so far.
- I have been a RV Tech for 35 years. I have seen all kinds of leveling jacks. I have NEVER seen a Electric(NOT ELECTRONIC) jack system that after a few years was worth anything. Atwoods are the worst. The length of the RV has nothing to do with which system is put on. The price rarely comes into play also. It sometimes just depends on what kind of cozy relationship the OEM buyer has with the Jack supplier. BTW, Electric jacks WILL devalue your motorhome when trading or selling. Doug
- jerseyjimExplorerI have POWERGEAR hydraulic levelers. At 8 years, I had to replace a bearing sitting on the top of the pump motor. At 13 years, I've had to replace 1 of the jacks (600 bucks...and they won't sell to YOU...only thru an authorized dealer)and this past summer 2 of my hydraulic hoses had to be replaced.
Things do wear out. But....overall...a good system. - desobelmanExplorerI think the electric vs. hydraulic levelers is by RV manufacturer not size of rig. My friend has a 33' Fleetwood Southwind with Atwood Electrics, and another who has a 36' Pace Arrow with Atwood electrics also. National went to the cheaper electrics in 2006 when they were in financial trouble to save money.
Both have their pluses and minuses.
Happy Trails!
