- bobojay5ExplorerA B+ as some like to call them, even though there is no such beast, is a class C not a B.
There's no argument otherwise - NMaceExplorer

Arizona Kid,
It's kind of a hybrid, I'd guess. It seems to fall in a crack like the Provan Tiger. I've heard the designation B+. Where do they fit in the RV.net Forums? I'm asking, not arguing. I'm trying to find out more information about them. When I search, find some hits here and some in the Class C forum.
Where do they belong? I'd suggest a compromise. If it has a slide-out, it's a C.
Thanks,
Bill
The LTV Free Spirit SS has a slide and is a true Class B, built on the doublr rear door Sprinter. The Moderators are going to have to lighten up and realize the old definitions do not apply. Nothing stays static. - retraiteExplorer

All,
Just a thought. The further from the manufacturer, the higher the shipping cost. Also, do you really want the transit driver to break in your $100k plus coach?
Why not see if you can buy the unit locally and pick it up in Winkler, Manitoba? I think we may try that.

Or, find a unit that was trucked, rather than driven, to the dealer. I realize that likely won't happen with a Sprinter - to high - but, for a Ford or Chevrolet based "B" it can work with a lowboy trailer.
We bought our PW Lexor from a dealer that is just over 2,000 miles from Saskatoon, SK and it had about 150 miles on the odometer at delivery. That was consistent with the paperwork - which indicated it was trucked - and our "look/see" for road grime.
While I do agree with concerns about the "driven to the dealer deliveries", there is occasionally an alternative.
Or, sometimes, a cooperative dealer/manufacturer/customer "arrangement" will permit the buyer to pickup the unit at the factory. That will sometimes mean it still has to go to the dealer for "prep" etc. (i.e., you can't use the unit for the initial trip), but at least you'll know how it was driven from factory to dealer.
While I've never done that with an RV, I have done it with our "built to order" utility trailer. I was quoted $850 factory to dealer freight. I said I'll go get it. All parties agreed and I had a pleasant trip and saved some money.
Cheers. - Arizona_KidExplorerIf its built on a cut-away chassis it's a Class C, a Class B starts out as a Van.
This info and more is in the FAQ's at the top of the Class B home page.
B+ is just manufactures marketing term, for a small Class C. - EugarpsExplorerArizona Kid,

Bill - Arizona_KidExplorerJust to let you know, the Unity is a small Class C, and there are owners, and some recent discussion about it over in that forum.

Oh, please do share.
I have my eye on a 2013 Leisure Travel Van Unity 24TB
Canadian MSRP: : $135,380.00
Candan Price: $124,995.00
We Save You: $10,385.00
So far it is a pipe dream. But, who knows, I might win the lottery!
Cheers, :B
I'm right there with you. That U24TB plan is ideal for our use and has the largest tanks for boondocking.
Bill - jjraiExplorerGood to know.
- Arizona_KidExplorerI think the chance that someone may fudge on their price, or just post a low price to Troll, makes it a good idea not to post purchased prices. Like was said here, why make someone feel bad if they happened to over pay, also there are so many variables, such as chassis age, time of year, local, or discount dealer, all options not disclosed, was it a show RV, trade in, and I'm sure there are more.
Not posting prices has always been a curtesy to other owners, but certainly no rule about doing it, but a PM would be the best.
