Both of those motorhomes probably use the Power Gear electro mechanical rack and pinion system to move the bedroom slides. If that is the case the slides should be kept in good alignment and the runners they slide on need to be lubed using a dry silicone lube and possibly even carnauba wax. The Power Gear units do on occasion shear the hardened roll pins installed that hold the pinion gear to the motor drive shaft. Most folks refer to these hardened roll pins as shear pins and many have had to enlarge the hole thru the pinion and shaft and install a larger bolt to try and avoid the shear problem.
The preferred approach would be to keep the slide properly aligned and lubed and pin failure will probably be nonexistent. Otherwise either of these would be a good choice. My preference would be the HR.
