Door entry code reset

It depends on the maker of the system.

I have the Trimark keyless entry with keypad at the door. You may have the same system. If you do, they have a good support system with manuals online. I just reset mine a while back when I replaced the keypad/handle.

Trimark Support

First, I would guess that the Foretravel factory could provide you the code. That is a very high end coach and everything on it is recorded during the build and those types of numbers are maintained by Foretravel.

Second, the code is often written on the control unit. Start clicking your remotes and listen for the controller. On the two DP's I've had, the controllers have been under the dash, near the steering wheel.

Lastly, on my current coach, the instruction manual had the MASTER code number written inside.

That said, there's several keypads that were used. Mine has a reset button but yours may be different. Trimark changed their keypads in 2006. Is yours separate from the handle or incorporated into the acrylic handle? Later versions require you to ground the keypad, the others have a button. Until YOU tell US what you have, we can't help you...if you don't know, post a picture....Dennis

The default Master User Code is 1-3-5-7-9, but most likely that's been changed. Regardless, you'll want to change it to your own personal code.
There should be a small red button inside the passenger side arm rest. You'll need that button to reprogram the system. You'll only have two minutes to complete the programming or you'll have to start over.

Now if you're ready to program it, here's what you do.

1. Determine what you'd like YOUR code to be. It can be 3-8 digits long, but you cannot us 555, 557 or 559. Those are restricted to locking your rig.
2. Find the red reset button.
3. Press and HOLD the reset button - you'll hear 4 rapid beeps.
4. Enter 1-1-1-9 on the keypad.- you'll hear 3 rapid beeps.
5. Within 5 SECONDS after the 3 rapid beeps, enter your personal code - you'll hear 3 rapid beeps. That's it! You're done. Try the new code and see if it works. Remember, this is a timed effort, so if you don't enter the codes within the allotted time, you'll have to go back and repeat steps 3-5. To start over, you MUST press and hold the reset button...I'll post the manual for your records tomorrow after I get back to the coach....Dennis

The small light below the keypad appears to be an aftermarket item, most likely a warning light that the coach's alarm system is armed. May or may not be functional...Dennis

I followed the instructions very carefully. I found the reset button located on a panel next to the passenger seat. I pressed the button and the keypad glowed red indicating something was happening. There was the four beeps so I push the key pad 1-1-1-9 an waited. after about three minutes there was the three beeps at that time I entered the code I desired and waited for the three beeps which took about three minutes. I then locked the coach and entered the new code and nothing happened. It seems the first beeps took too long to happen and then the three beeps, the same thing. Must be a defective key pad..

Anyway thanks for all the help. I guess I can order a new key pad and install it myself.

Dixie Flyer.....Good info from Executive, but I wonder if it's like other systems. Once you enter your code, you have to enter one last number for a function to occur. On mine, I enter my code and then enter (1) to make the doors unlock. Other numbers make things like the bay doors unlock.
