Yes, unfortunately, times are changing but not for the better.
I remember, when I was a kid, traveling in our 'House Car', during the late 50's and early 60's.
We could park anywhere and were often invited to park in peoples yards. No one bothered us.
It sure was a different, and better, world then..
And, for the OP. I think anytime you change to a different RV that is better for you, it is an Upgrade, not a downgrade.
If you go from a 45' Prevost to a Pop Up and it works better for you, it's an upgrade. JMO
