- JR45ExplorerThey need to be split and cleaned then resealed. If this is your first there are more to come. I have had all of mine resealed by Dave Root Bend,OR
JR - Big_KatunaExplorer IIThere should be some one in Elkhart that can do it. Usually a few hundred per window. All mine need it.
- ItascaTom2005ExplorerWow! Guess I need to locate someone who can do this, thanks for the info guys!
- wildmanbakerExplorerCheck with your insurance, since this is a safety issue, they may pay for it.
- edatlantaExplorerX2 on Suncoast. Just be aware if your windows are frame-less the price is $450.00/window (or it was in December 2014).
- jrclarkExplorerI used RV Fog Doctor in Searcy, Arkansas to repair my door window that was fogged and also had some moisture inside the dual pane. They did an excellent job and the cost was $200.00. They were quick and very professional. They have full hookups and wifi at no charge. We arrived on Friday night for our appointment on Monday morning.
- fcooperExplorerIf you're a do it yourself type, it's not technically difficult. There are some you tube video's on how. I documented doing one, and the steps are in the files section of the IRV2 forum. You can easily do one window for less than $100 with materials left over for another window.

Doesn't hurt to ask, but I can't imagine the insurance covering this. Kind like making an insurance claim for bald tires because it's a safety issue. I don't think it will work. - ILVMYGTExplorerDave Roots RV Glass Repair (http://www.daverootrvglassrepair.com/ )now has a "Window Rebuild Kit" ($268) to rebuild the windows. I also bought the "Exterior window reseal kits" ($60) so I could replace the flange gasket. The kit includes all the necessary supplies and instructions to rebuild the window except the caulking gun. I have done 3 windows and have enough material to do several more windows. The job is not too difficult. The hardest part was cutting my old seal as it had a metal strip in it. When we removed the larger window we had 3 people there to support it, however it only took 2 reinstall it. I am very satisfied with the kit and the rebuilt windows.
Here is an article on the repair. Page 9
