I am just going through this too. Today I went to a welding shop with a trailer shop. He will install one reveiver on each side of the installed hitch, no weld on the RV frame. I will then insert some 2 inch hitch tube in and have a motorcycle carrier bolted on it. This way I can remove and install the carrier.
Normally people will install a single hitch receiver that would support 5 to 600 pounds. With my set up, it would be stronger than just one receiver, less wooble and more secure. I will add some hitch stabilizer to the reveiver so there is no losseness in the kit.
