All in all, I like it, but I'm confused as to whether that's the main bed, or a foldout sofa. If it's the main bed, I would think the would be some sort of divider between it & the main "living room", at least a pocket door.
Who would you be hiding from?
well one couldn't go to sleep if the other person wanted to stay up and make noise. also, you would then have to pull all of the window curtains/drapes instead of just closing off a bed room.
a bad idea IMHO.
bumpy - burlmartExplorerI THINK THE MH BUILDER THAT USES THE DUCATO TO DO A RETRO B+ VERSION OF THAT '70s GMC CLASS A COULD REALLY STRIKE IT RICH.

No they are not. There are Duallys for FWD Motorhomes that are INLINE not side by side Duallys. much smother ride
That makes sense that they use tandems instead of duals. The FWD motorhomes using a GM chassis in the 70s did the same thing. With the heavier FWD motorhomes I can see traction being a real problem on hills if the road surface is wet or slippery.- RobertRyanExplorer

The side view above shows the wrong vehicle for the other pictures. The unit in that layout of the other pictures has a mid-door - look at photo #35 in the Gallery. You can also see in the photos above that the door is directly across from the fridge.
Exactly right as the unit on the website is a locally built Slideout and they seemed to have a US built version where I got the photos from They showed a US Built Tavlor 750D Travel Trailer caravan. Inspected it at the Caravan and Motorhome show in Sydney last year. Quality was terrible. I hope the new bigger slideout is not the same. - RobertRyanExplorerA LOT OF COMMENTS AND MISCONCEPTIONS

I love the layout the entry door is a little small and I don't know how that FWD chassis gonna work out.
These are the best selling chassis for Motorhomes in Europe and the RAM Promaster is a V6 gas version.Burlmart wrote:
Awesome space, but I see no tandem axles, and cannot tell if just single rear wheels are carrying all that weight. If they can do that, why do all our B+s and other small duallys
It does get IN-LINE Duallys when you stretch the chassis to 28-29ft. Weight for a LINER goes to 15,000GVWR same as a Class A Winnebago Sprinter.Burlmart wrote:
Our 22' B plus is similar wt. Why use duallys? Is the sway an issue for these SRW Ducato MHs?
Far from it, very very stable, but you can get a ESC system fitted.Paw Paw and Gram wrote:
Duals seem to be rare in Europe and Australia. The width is a hair under 8 ft. When duals are built, usually the extra wheel on each side has to be put inside the regular track, not outside as in the US.
No they are not. There are Duallys for FWD Motorhomes that are INLINE not side by side.
Duallys. much smother ride - mumkinExplorerLove the open plan. But it would be hard to keep warm when traveling in the North American cold.
- PawPaw_n_GramExplorerHere is a pretty good video from the chassis manufacturer. Fiat Ducato
- lfcjaspExplorerThank you for sharing this, Robert! Also thanks to the poster who had the link to this company. Nice motorhomes, love the "wood" floors:) Did wonder about the lack of duallies:?
