Electric Brake Contoller 04 Damon Daybreak

We have a 2004 Damon Daybreak with the Workhorse with the 8.1.

I am going to be installing a Electric Brake Controller so I can tow my Motorcycles on my Utility Trailer. Plus, I'm still trying to decide on whether to go with a Tow Dolly or Flat Tow and this would give me more options.

So my question is has anyone installed one of these in a couch like this before? I have heard that some coaches might be pre-wired but I'm not counting on that. I'm just looking for some advice on how tough it was to install.

  • I personally would use surge brakes on anything you tow. No controller required. If you are looking for a solution to towing the towed and the motorcycle, no you can't tow the motorcycle behind the other towed vehicle. Look at a Tandem Tow or get a pickup and put the motorcycle in the bed.

    Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about connecting it to the Brake Light Wire as all it seems to need is a signal that shows when the brakes are activated. So, thanks again for letting me know that I'm on the right track.
