Not goign to go to the trouble of a quote but Rga.. If it "Exhausts" cold air and does not suck in fresh air (Which by the way if heating will be colder than the outside) it's a vacuum pump, not a heat pump.
Again: A Heater converts some other form of energy (Chemical or electrical) to HEAT
A Heat pump Simply moves heat from Point A to Point B. Same as a water pump moves water from Point A to point B.
Why they are both called PUMPS. the water pump does not make water Nor does the heat pump make heat. Unliess there is a heat strip (electric heater) inside it and if that is the case it is a "heater" not a heat pump.
