The tech took the wires off of the breaker and taped them. what I don't understand is that there is a 110 cord hanging in the engine compartment that isn't plugged into anything. It looks like it goes to the block heater. it didn't give me any trouble while plugged into 50 amp, only when plugged into 30 amp. he said that the 30 amp is a ground fault circuit and the 50 amp wasn't. he said it was all about the GFI . I haven't owned the coach all that long and I'm electricaly challenged. I just want to replace the block heater and live happily ever after. But I am not really sure that is what I need to do. I just don't like to have anything on my coach that doesn't work like it's supposed to.
I am normally in Texas RGV now, but because of family issues I am late leaving this year and it is colder than he#% her in Illinois.
I think I am going to need that block heater.
