- ksg5000ExplorerWe use a six inch plastic step stool - same one my wife occasionally uses to reach upper cabinets.

Sometimes when we setup if the ground is not level the electric 2 steps are still pretty high. It has mostly to do with the topography of where we set up it isn't always an issue. Do they make an add on step you can add or should we just get a portable step?
Depends on how much "First step" I need.
Due to some other issues I carry a bunch of lumber 2"x12"x3' Sometimes I'll use one or two of them
I have a Green Garden thing Folded up it makes a good first step
Like this one from Lowes Though I don't know where I got mine (likely Big Lots).
it has other uses too
And I just picked up a metal 350 pound capacity step (Taller) from Horrible Freight. IT's very nice. - GundogExplorer IIHere is the step I made a few years ago using my CNC router.

This all slipped together and was very stable but it was not adjustable for height but it did break down flat. I was just hoping to find something that would store on the existing step. - DFordExplorer

I've seen what you're talking about but with the price (around $300) I didn't take any notes.
I built a wood step for my old 5th wheel that broke down but I was hoping to find something that would attach to my electric step that could be pulled out if needed but left stored when not needed. It doesn't sound like that is made. Maybe I will design something. - valhalla360NavigatorFor under $10 and 1/2hr, built one out of 2x4s...Not the lightest but literally used it to help jack up the trailer one time when the jack wasn't tall enough

- IAMICHABODExplorer III tried a adjustable one and found that was a pain to work and in 1/4 inch increments wasn't worth the trouble.
So I went with a solid fold up one This one works just fine - opnspacesNavigator III built a large step 30x24x6 inches to help my mom get into the Suburban. Since it is already in the back of the truck I use it as an additional trailer step as needed.
I made the step large so people can step up and stand on it before thinking about taking the next step. It's also nice to just come down the stairs and not really think about placing my foot correctly on a small stool.
I'm not sure how much room you would have to store a step in a class A. But I would build a step as large as I could comfortably transport and handle. - azrvingExplorerTorque lift glow step.

I use a portable step, but was able to find a wide one. There were 2 sizes in the style I bought.
