I am thinking of doing this on my 2007 four winds. One poster said they covered the strip and another one said they took the strip off, applied the eternabond and re installed the strip with stainless steel screws. If you did this. would you not be putting holes in the eternabond you just installed? If you cover the piece do you remove the plastic cover that covers the screws or just eternabond over the whole thing? Recommendations anyone?
