Applying Eternabond Tape to edge of roof

HI Folks: Following recent related topics, I am resealing all openings through the roof of the TC. Folks have suggested applying eternabond tape at the edge of the roof to ensure a long lasting seal. I have a TPO roof in good shape and other then keeping it clean and conditioned and watch for any holes I only have the edge seam to be concerned about running around the edges of the roof. Here is a picture of the edge of the roof. If I apply the eternabond tape should it start inside the gutter covering the screws holding the gutter and lap up over the edge seam onto the roof or just start above the screws in the gutter and lap up over the edge seam onto the roof. If I apply the eternabond tape I will run a bead of Dicor along its edge on the flat part of the roof as suggested in a previous posting. cheers christl
