Also, be aware that the five (5) Class C forward facing cabover clearance lights can be a source of leaks too ... as they face straight forward in blasting rain when traveling down the road.
I Eternabonded these five clearance light holes shut some time ago. The lights are still up there but no longer work because I disconnected the lights from their wires and tucked the wires back in behind the Eternabond circular patches. Each wire can be a leak path for water to run along and wind up in the interior space between the cabover's walls. You could chase supposed cabover seam leaks for a long time before realizing it's not the seams that are doing the leaking, but along the wires leading to the cabover lights.
