that's exactly what we did when we bought new back in 2000. we add $X per month to that fund and pay for all maintenance and repairs from it. so far we are way, way ahead and the fund has grown to the point that we now have a very good down payment on a new MH (when the time comes). meanwhile we are still adding to it.
