F53 Brake Advice
I am looking to replace the brake system on our 1996 Dolphin 535 (Ford F53), as the pads are worn and have begun to gouge the rear rotors. Not to mention the entire system is old, so I want to replace...

On the topic of brake fluid. Some do use racing brake fluid. If you're going to be doing the mountains pulling a car/truck/trailer then I can see how a person might sleep better at night.
I'm guessing very few do use racing brake fluid. IMHO you're much better off swapping out the brake fluid every two years with brand new never been opened stuff. You'll then be at the dry boiling point, plus the pistons in the calipers and the caliper walls will thank you. So will the brake pads if you keep those pins cleaned then lubed.
Even after all of that my 96 F53 would never stop solid. During a panic stop I would hold my breath and start counting. Thank goodness that only happened twice in six years. A brake buddy on the tow car did help on the second panic stop. Didn't have one for the first one, made me buy one after that.
