Just buy a new F150....lighter with aluminum and easy to activate 4 down towing mode. Easy install as well. Tows like a champ.

I guess the battery won't discharge then... ;)

Rich, welcome to the forum. Get your VIN and call your local GM service department. Tell them what you want to get an answer to, and they can give you a list of what equipment your SUV has, if you can tow 4 down, and what the actual procedure for doing so is. The VIN has a record of everything built into the vehicle.

Thanks for the info. I've had that happen a lot and I figured is must be something like that screwing it up.
