I have had two fail in ten years, same coach. The kitchen slide first. It would go out about six inches and stop. It went back in. I didn't try it again.
The second was the other side and it went out about an inch and quit, never to move again. The gearbox and motor fell off on the way home as the case had cracked.
New motors/gearbox is about $700 plus an hour labour.
