Went to my buddy's house today.. Tried the switch and you could hear it try to go out. When we tried to retract the slide nothing happened. I tested the batteries with a multimeter with 12.69 volts and 1300+ , so the are charged up.
He showed me the relays and fuse panels under the hood The main panel said to remove power at the batterries before removing the panels. We removed the negative cable from the battery and checked the fuse which was ok. We reattached the negative cable at the batteries. On the slide out relays, there are LED lights that indicate when working. He started the engine and tried to extend then retract the slides. The LED lights lit up indicating the relays were working..
I looked and listen under the slide and could see a little movement when switched to extend and nothing when retracted. Then we removed the slide switch panel above the entry and pushed in all the wires. The engine was still running and when I pushed the slide rocker down it tried to extend and when I pushed the rocker switch up it began to retract. It has worked fine since. So could be a loose connection on the switch, but the wires did seem to all be connected. Thought maybe the controller reset when the negative cable was removed and reattached, but we did try it once when I looked
underneath prior to removing the switch plate.
Any thoughts?
